Wing Python IDE 6.0.12: May 15, 2018
Wingware has released version 6.0.12 of its family of cross-platform Python IDEs.

This release adds wxPython 4 as a supported matplotlib backend, fixes remote development with Python 3.7, improves PEP287 docstring formatting errors, correctly updates the Source Assistant for remote files, fixes display glitches in the Remote Hosts dialog, adds minor updates of the French localization, and makes about 20 other improvements. Wing Pro requires purchasing or upgrading a license, or obtaining a 30-day trial at startup. Wing 101 and Wing Personal are free versions that omit some features.

Upgrading
You can try Wing 6 without removing older versions. Wing 6 will read and convert your old preferences, settings, and projects. Projects should be saved to a new name since previous versions of Wing cannot read Wing 6 projects.
